This Privacy Policy describes how Merchantify Toolkit (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store.
1. Information Collected via Shopify API
To provide our SEO and marketing automation services, the App requests access to the following data:
Product Data (read/write): Required to automatically generate XML Sitemaps and optimize store metadata.
Order Data (read/write): Required to enable marketing attribution tracking (UTM) and trigger automated workflow executions.
Store Content: To manage the visual elements and communication buttons (WhatsApp) integrated into the storefront.
Data Protection Compliance: We do not store Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of your customers. All data processing is strictly functional for the services provided within the App dashboard.
2. Data Retention and Deletion
We strictly adhere to Shopify's Mandatory Webhooks regarding data protection:
Shop Redaction: When a merchant uninstalls the App, all associated store data is automatically deleted from our temporary cache within 48 hours.
Customer Redaction/Data Requests: We process all mandatory requests to delete or provide customer data as triggered by Shopify.
3. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your store data to outside parties. Data is used solely to maintain the App's functionality and performance.
